The amounts of total money invested in this project will be $536.4 million over the next three years at a location along the west coast of the province. The renewable energy complex includes a 200 MW wind power plant and a 20 MW solar power plant at the site which is owned by Korea Rural Community Corp., one of the co-investors and will be leased

Once the construction done by three years, the power complex will be the biggest renewable energy area in the country, producing electricity for 300,000 to 400,000 residents. It is also expected to help reduce carbon dioxide emissions, one of the main air polluters, by about 167,000 tons annually and create at least 5,000 jobs.
