Facebook will begin new privacy setting policy for teens from 13 to 17. This new changed will take effect immediately.

This new relaxed policy will expose teen to public and will most likely stir up a huge debate. Facebook said it would let teens’ posts public instead of could be only seen by their Facebook friends and friends of friends. This will shift Facebook’s direction in similar path as Twitter.

However, this new move is raising red flags between parents and the online privacy protection organizations. Some of the parents groups are concerned that this couple expose their teens to wider net of bullying or to pedophiles. Also, this new policy will expose teens to data collection agencies and tracking companies.
