Dedication ceremony for South Korea’s tallest skyscraper held

A dedication ceremony for the Northeast Asia Trade Tower (NEATT) in Incheon, the tallest building in South Korea, was held on Thursday.

The 68-story skyscraper in the Songdo International Business District is 305 meters high and 57 meters taller than 63 Building in Yeouido.

The 80-story Haeundae Doosan We’ve the Zenith complex in Busan had been the tallest building since 2011. It stands 301 meters tall.

The NEATT building features, among others, the country’s tallest observatory.

It takes only 1 minute for visitors using elevators to go up to the observation deck on the 65th floor, according to POSCO Engineering and Construction Co.
