She became a member of the club as the amount of money she has donated since 2010 for the underprivileged exceeds 100 million won, the charity agency Community Chest of Korea said on Friday.
Celebrities who are members of the club include entertainer Hyunyoung, actress Suae, songstress Hyunsook and actor Kim Bo-sung, according to the club.
Among sports stars who joined it are retired South Korean football icon Park Ji-sung; Hong Myung-bo, former head coach of the South Korean men's national football team; Kim Tae-kyun who plays for the Hanwha Eagles in the Korean Baseball Organization (KBO) league; female professional golfer Choi Na-yeon; Ryu Joong-il, manager of the Samsung Lions of the KBO; and Jin Kab-yong, a catcher who plays for the Samsung Lions.
