Hyundai Sonata receives Best Economic Performance Award in US

Hyundai Motor's new Sonata sedan has been named as winner of the 2015 Best Economic Performance Award given by the U.S. Automotive Science Group, the South Korean automaker said on Friday. The Sonana was chosen from among 64 models, including Chevrolet Impala and Ford Taurus, in the category of full-size cars, Hyundai said. Sales of Sonatas in the United States rose 6.5 percent in 2014 from the previous year, the carmaker said.
