"Gram 14," a new notebook PC produced by LG Electronics, has sold more than 10,000 units since its launch about a month ago, the company said on Sunday.
The Gram 14 is the lightest among 14-inch (35.5 centimeters) notebook PCs sold in South Korea, LG said.
The new notebook PC is gaining popularity as it weighs only 980 grams even though it has a 14-inch display, company officials said. In addition, the Gram 14 is only 13.4mm thick, equipped with Intel's fifth-generation core i7 CPU and has a battery life of up to 10 and a half hours, they said.
The Gram 14 sold faster than the Gram 13 which went on sale last year, the officials said.
The launch event for the Gram 14 was held at the LG Twin Tower in Yeouido, Seoul, Jan. 14.
