Leverkusen's Son Heung-min has buy-out clause of 22.5 million euros, highest among teammates: German newspaper

Bayer Leverkusen's South Korean striker Son Heung-min has a buy-out clause of more than 22 million euros, the highest among his teammates, a German newspaper reported Friday.

His contract with the German club includes a buy-out clause of 22.5 million euros (approximately 26.6 billion Korean won), the Bild said.  

The comparable figure stands at 22 million euros for midfielder Karim Bellarabi, 18 million euros for goalkeeper Bernd Leno, 15 million euros for midfielder Lars Bender and 10 million euros for midfielder Gonzalo Castro. 

Under a new deal signed with FC Barcelona, Argentine striker Leo Messi has a buy-out clause of 250 million euros, according to reports.
