Actress Suzy stars in upcoming historical film 'Dorihwaga'

Actress Suzy speaks during the presentation of director's Lee Jong-pil's upcoming historical film "Dorihwaga (The Sound of A Flower)" at CGV Apgujeong in Southern Seoul, Thursday. Suzy, also an idol girl singer, plays Jin Chae-seon (1842- ?) who, according to historical records, was eager to become a pansori (traditional narrative music) singer in the 1860s during Korea's Joseon Kingdom (1392-1910). Actor Ryu Seung-ryong plays her teacher, Shin Jae-hyo (1812-1884). The movie will open in local cinemas on Nov. 25.
