Seventeen, a large K-pop ensemble, made Billboard magazine's 21 Under 21 Playlist for this year.

The group, which debuted five months ago, ranked 18th in Billboard.com's 2015 edition of 21 Under 21, the American music magazine's annual ranking of music's most powerful minors.

It was the only Asian band included in this year's list released on Friday (local time).

Seventeen, a 13-member multinational group, consists of three subgroups - hip-hop, vocal and performance.

Australian pop punk band 5 Seconds of Summer topped the list, followed by American girl group Fifth Harmony, New Zealand singer and songwriter Lorde, Canadian singer and songwriter Shawn Mendes, American hip hop duo Rae Sremmurd, South African-born singer Troye Sivan, Dutch musician Martin Garrix, American female country music duo Maddie & Tae, American hip hop recording artist and rapper Joey Bada$$ and American actress, model and singer Hailee Steinfeld.
