Internet community trends are unpredictable. Now, showing off one’s toilet is the trend overwhelming reddit, and imgur.
It all started with a post in imgur, an image based online community. A user named “atmospheric” uploaded a short video clip showing a scenic view outside the user’s school toilet cubicle. The scene was rather beautiful, with snow-covered majestic mountain in the horizon, small Nordic village sat in the view.

Many commented on the thread, praising how the view was so beautiful, and some started to competitively upload their share of toilet images. Now, the images of toilets are uploaded from all around the world. Some even have witty photoshop effects added on to make a great joke
