Song Joong-ki, famed actor from the hit drama "Descendants of the Sun", treated his fans at a fan meeting by singing them an OST from the drama, "Always".
The actor held a fan meeting over the weekend, which gathered more than 4,000 fans worldwide. Top stars Park Bogum, Lee Kwang-soo, and Gummy appeared in the fan-meeting as special guests and Song also performed a duet with Gummy for "You Are My Sunshine".
Song Joong-ki also did a solo performance of the OST Always. The performance was not perfect, but as he did his best to sing the song, but it was enough to warm the fans' hearts.
The performance was not the only surprise for the fans. During the fan meeting, the actor announced that "I will donate the money earned by the fan-meeting." And he also gave out hand-written notes saying "I am sorry for having you wait for so long to meet me. Thank you. I think my second life as an actor has just begun. I will try not to disappoint you. I wish by the heart that you have a great time."
Since the drama finished its airing, the casting members of the Descendants of the Sun are busy around the world attending fan-meetings and promotional events. The popularity of the drama is phenomenal in Asian countries and in some countries like China, the remake of the drama are being prepared.
