Jessica, a former member of Girls' Generation, had her solo debut track "Fly" banned from South Korea's state-run KBS on Wednesday.

According to KBS' announcements, Jessica's new track is deemed inappropriate for broadcasting due to its lyrics directly mentioning brand names. A car brand "Mercedes Benz" was mentioned in the lyrics along with "Crown Victoria" from a carmaker "Ford".

The singer's agency, Coridel Entertainment quickly responded with a statement. "We will fix the lyrics for reassessment." The agency said.

Meanwhile, Jessica's comeback solo track is gaining popularity over YouTube. The track, released on Monday, recorded accumulated view counts of over two million in less than 24 hours of its release. Now, it has over six million view counts after five days.

Jessica's comeback coincidently overlaps with Tiffany's solo debut. The singer spoke about the situation during an interview with TV Report. "I think the showdown between me and Tiffany will be fun for the fans to watch," Jessica said, "I've watched and listened to her new track and I think Tiffany showed the fans all that she prepared."

Tiffany currently has over 6.5 million view counts on her solo debut track "I Just Wanna Dance". Considering the current Girls' Generation member released her track on May 10, Jessica is to overtake her former colleague sometime next week.
