Ryeowook, a member of South Korean boy group Super Junior, postponed his mandatory military service which was originally scheduled to start on June 14.

SM Entertainment, Super Junior's agency, announced on Thursday "Ryeowook will postpone his enlistment which was scheduled for June 14." The agency explained that Ryeowook was focusing his international activities such as fan-meetings after promoting his solo album, but because of problems Super Junior would experience with his absence, he is to postpone his enlistment.

According to SM Entertainment's official, Ryeowook is to participate in Super Junior's fan meetings which would take place in South America this month.

"I hope to start my service as soon as I finish my international activities with Super Junior," said Ryeowook. "I will fulfill my duty to my country as soon as enlistment dates are fixed."
