YG Entertainment, a top South Korean entertainment agency, has released pictures and other details related to its new girl group named "Black Pink"
YG unveiled the pictures of the four-member girl group comprised of Jennie, Lisa, Jisoo and Rose, before shooting their music videos.
It's YG's first girl group in seven years. YG's trademark girl group 2NE1 has been almost inactive with CL kick-starting her career in the United States. Minji left the group while Park Bom was out of attention for her drug scandal.
YG's main music producer Teddy Park has written and produced Black Pink's debut songs. YG head Yang Yang Hyun-suk has said the new girl group would not be like 2NE1.
