BigBang rapper T.O.P will present his art collections for a charity auction hosted by Sotheby's, a New York-based international auction operator, the singer's agency said Monday.

T.O.P will curate his art collections labeled "#TTTOP" at the auction on October 3 in Hong Kong, YG Entertainment said, adding the event would be Sotheby's first collaboration with a young Asian celebrity.

The 29-year-old has spent a year preparing for the auction, which will be staged as a donation project. T.O.P will not be given guaranteed payment, and part of the profits will be donated to the Asian Cultural Council, a non-profit foundation supporting young Asian artists.

"I hope young Asian artists, who are in a difficult situation, will work in a more state environment," T.O.P said through his agency. "I will continue to push for such a charity project."
