"Wings," the second studio album of South Korean idol group Bangtan Boys (BTS), has been selected by a US cable and satellite music channel as one of this year's 20 best albums.

"Wings" was among "The 20 Best Albums of 2016" released by Fuse TV, along with other albums including Beyonce's "Lemonade" and David Bowie's "Black Star".

"For three years since their debut, all seven members have proven their musical prowess by participating in the writing, composing and arranging of the songs," Fuse TV said. "Unlike the majority of K-pop groups, the band expresses their feelings and thoughts frankly in the lyrics winning them a wholly passionate global fandom."

The seven-member boy group has soared in popularity at home and overseas this year, gaining momentum as leading K-pop artist in the three years since its debut. "WINGS" was ranked as high as 26th on the Billboard 200 chart, the highest placement for a K-pop group to date.
