Girl group A Pink has released a teaser video featuring a special recording technique, making listeners feel as if the girls are whispering right next to them.
The teaser clip, uploaded onto A Pink's YouTube channel Sunday, uses an autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR) tech to tease fans with sweet voices. A Pink members urge the listeners to turn up the volume and sing a verse from the title song "Cause You're My Star" from their new album "Dear".
ASMR, one of many popular online trends, simulates a space wth sounds, making the listeners think as if the source of the sounds is right next to them. Many online users use ASMR sounds to relax.
The six-member group will release a mini special album on December 15, followed by a two-day concert in Seoul from December 17. About 10,000 tickets have been sold out in mere two minutes.
