South Korea's rising K-pop star, Kim Yoo-jung, was hospitalized Thursday after showing symptoms of a bad cold. The actress has canceled all afternoon schedules.
The 17-year-old's agency, Sidus HQ, said that because of her tight schedule Wednesday at Yahoo Asia BUZZ Awards 2016 in Hong Kong which Kim attended to receive a popularity award, the actress is suffering from extreme fatigue.
A Sidus official said: "Kim's condition is not too bad as to a point which she needs a complete medical examination. She is only showing symptoms of bad cold and fatigue."
For the last few days, Kim had to hop from a city to another, taking part in multiple promotional events for her upcoming film "Because I Love You". She was criticized by many fans for taking an insincere attitude at the events as she showed distracted movements, fidgeting around while making on-stage greetings. Some accused her of lacking "professionalism".
