Singer-songwriter and TV personality Jung Joon-young will come back in February, ending the voluntary suspension of public activities over a sex scandal involving his former girlfriend, his management agency said Monday.
The 27-year-old will hold a comeback concert on February 25 with his first solo album. He will also return to a popular TV variety show, though no date was given.
Jung suspended public activities in September last year when an ex-girlfriend accused him of filming her secretly during their sexual activities. The ex-girlfriend dropped her suit after police failed to find any clear evidence that she was recorded without prior consent.
Jung first gained public recognition after appearing on Mnet's music competition show "Superstar K" in 2012. He had been a regular guest on various TV programs, including a KBS variety show called "Two Days, One Night".
