"Playboy", an American men's lifestyle and entertainment magazine, will issue a Korean version targeting young people from June, a local publisher said Tuesday.
Playboy Enterprises has signed a contract with Kaya Media Corp. to publish the American magazine in South Korea. Kaya publishes fashion magazines "Marie Claire" and "Esquire".
In addition to its flagship magazine in the United States, Playboy publishes special nation-specific versions worldwide. It no longer prints nudity, and the Korean edition will focus on interviews with celebrities, social and political issues, and lifestyle.
