Girls' Generation member Seohyun ambitiously unleashed her new solo track "Don't Say No" Tuesday but failed to enter the top 10 in the real-time charts of major online music services.

Betraying expectations among fans, Seohyun's new solo debut track was ranked 21st in the real-time chart of Melon, South Korea's largest online music service. Experts say it will be hard for Seohyun to take the first place if her new song stands outside the top ten on its release date.

A famous girl group AOA got stranded with an unexpectedly low score in music charts earlier this month when the girls came back with two title tracks. They were placed well below the 60th place in the real time charts of Melon and failed to recover afterward.

Seohyun was compared to a girl group Miss A member Suzy who made her solo debut simultaneously and topped the charts of major music services.
