Samsung's new flagship Galaxy S8 will probably miss this year's Mobile World Congress. Instead, the trade show may see the tech giant's new tablet Galaxy Tab S3, speculating from its invitation image for a related press conference on February 26.

The teaser invitation image by Samsung shows a partial silhouette of an unknown device, and many experts believe it is the company's new tablet. Tab S3 has recently received approval from the US Federal Communications Commission, meaning it's ready to hit the market.

Little information about the Samsung tablet has been leaked while some rumors emerged that it will feature either a Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 or Samsung's Exynos 7420 processors widely used in Samsung's latest smartphones. It is said to come with a 9.7-inch display, 4GB RAM and a fingerprint sensor, running on the latest Android operating system "Nougat".

Previously, Samsung has said S8's unpacking event would be delayed, in order to carry out a perfect quality control following its exploding Galaxy Note 7. Many experts predict S8 will be unveiled in March.
