South Korean actor Park Hae-jin will be displayed as a wax figure at the Madame Tussauds museum in Hong Kong next month, his agency said Monday.

The actor, who gained great fame in China and other Asian countries for his role in a webtoon-based hit drama "Cheese in the Trap", will unveil his life-size wax doll at Madame Tussauds Hong Kong in March, Mountain Movement said.

Madame Tussauds is part of the renowned chain of wax museums founded by Marie Tussaud of France. The Hong Kong branch houses nearly 100 wax figures of internationally known personalities, with Asian figures taking up more than a third of the total.

The wax museum set up the "Hallyu (K-pop wave) zone in 2015 to house the wax figures of South Korean celebrities such as Bae Yong-joon, Song Seung-heon and Suzy.
