Girls' Generation member Taeyeon is in preparation for her solo comeback following her successful run last year, her agency, SM Entertainment, said. There has been speculation about her solo comeback possibly in February or in early March,
SM said in a statement Monday that the 27-year-old is currently preparing for the release of her solo album.
Last year, Taeyeon released two singles and a mini-album that swept the real-time charts at home and abroad. Taeyeon's hit streak outstands among other members of Girls' Generation -- Hyoyeon, Tiffany and Seohyun -- as they did not score well with their solo songs in 2016.
