LG Electronics' upcoming flagship smartphone G6 is expected to provide users with unique music listening experience, powered by a special module inside the device that will be unveiled at the 2016 Mobile World Congress in Spain this month.

"We will present a whole new experience for consumers with our smartphone sound system like no other," said an LG official. The new G6 will feature an integrated Quad DAC (digital to analog converter) technology. G6's predecessor V20 was praised by critics and smart device fans for the quality of music. LG said G6's DAC is more advanced than V20's.

LG had previously hinted that the new flagship would be fitted with a heat-pipe to prevent the phone from getting overheated. The heat pipe is a cooling device in the form of a pipe normally made of copper. The liquid-filled pipe disperses heat evenly around the device.

The company did not reveal details. However, rumors suggested it would be water resistant and feature a larger display than its previous brothers. A set of images were leaked online earlier this month, showing a metal-encased frame and dual-lens camera.

LG's new flagship will be unveiled at the 2016 Mobile World Congress held in Barcelona, Spain, on February 26.
