LG Electronics has shown confidence in the reliability of its upcoming flagship G6 in one of its invitations for a launching event, sent out to media companies, according to Android Central, a US-based smart devices specialist media.

The company's latest line of flagships -- G4, G5, V10 and V20 -- have caused frustration among many users with "bootloop", a situation in which a phone fails to boot, endlessly trying to reboot itself, caused by soldering getting separated from the smartphone's motherboard because of excessive heat.

According to Android Central, LG stressed in its invitation that the company has triple-checked on G6's reliability. The smart device specialist suggested that G6's screen would be stronger as it was shown in a teaser video released in January. LG may adopt Gorilla Glass 5, an extra-tough glass used for smartphones and tablets, it said.

G6 will be unveiled during the 2017 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on February 26. According to rumors, the flagship will be water resistant with a metal-encased body. It would have very small bezels on its top and bottom, providing a slightly different screen size ratio than previous smartphones.

LG has said G6 would feature an integrated Quad DAC (digital to analog converter), a feature previously adopted by the V series. The new 32-bit DAC would provide users with a whole different listening experience, the tech giant said Monday.

However, the flagship is probably not supporting wireless charging, a key feature in Samsung's flagship smartphones. Because the wireless charging requires magnetic waves to pass through the back of the smartphone, the metal-encased G6 won't be compatible with the latest battery charging method.
