For domestic sales starting this week, LG Electronics unveiled to the public a new ultra-slim "wallpaper" OLED television that earned international acclaim at an international trade show.
LG's SIGNATURE OLEDTV W series shown for this year's TV lineup included a wallpaper TV, designed to materialize minimalism, which gained the Engadget CES Best of the Best Awards at the Consumer Electronics Show in January.
The 65-inch display is only four millimeter (0.15 inch) thick, with other parts packed separately into a flat box called "Innovation Stage" that included six 4.2-channel speakers, Two normal speakers point upwards to create a three-dimensional effect.
The 65-inch model was priced at 14,000,000 won (12,310 US dollars). The 77-inch model will be released during the first half of this year.
