As the world's tech fans eagerly await for the release of Samsung's new flagships Galaxy S8 and S8+ (with a larger display), a Twitter user, famous for his predictions on upcoming smart devices, has dropped a spec sheet for S8+.

According to the spec sheet,  the Twitter user, Evan Bliss, claimed the larger brother of S8 will feature a 6.2-inch AMOLED display. It also showed that the new flagship will be IP68 water-resistant, meaning it could survive being submerged underwater to a depth of 1.5 meters (4.9 feet) for 30 minutes.

Other noticeable specs include an iris scanner, which was installed in Samsung's Galaxy Note 7, and a pair of bundle earphones tuned by audio specialist company AKG. It seems that Samsung aims to boost its smartphone audio features to match that of LG.

LG  has strengthened the music-listening experience by adding DAC (digital to analog converter) and specially tuned bundle earphones. LG's try was praised by critics and tech fans as its previous smartphones G5 and V20 showed off music performances equivalent of music-playing devices which cost thousands of dollars.

The spec sheet did not say whether S8 would follow the global trend of installing an AI-powered voice assistant. It's not clear if S8's home button would be replaced by soft key as claimed by many previous rumors. S8 series will be globally launched on April 21 while LG's upcoming flagship G6 will be released in March.
