Samsung has unveiled new premium tablets -- "Galaxy Tab S3" and "Galaxy Book" -- at the 2017 Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, featuring an ultra-high definition 4K display.

The tables also come with S Pen, Samsung's pen-shaped instrument used to control devices, write and draw by directly touching the touch-sensitive display. Samsung said the new devices are capable of multiple tasks such as multimedia, effective office work and entertainment.

They support LTE mobile connection and are installed with powerful cameras at their front and rear side. A new technology, Smart Flow, was adopted to seamlessly connect smartphones to the tablets.

While the 9.7-inch Galaxy Tab S3 is an Android OS-operated tablet, Galaxy Book targets the Windows tablet market which has been growing with hardware makers such as Microsoft, Dell, Lenovo and Asus, racing to take the throne.

Galaxy Book comes in two models -- 12-inch and 10-inch -- with a detachable keyboard maximizing portability and work-efficiency. Both are fitted with Intel's latest processors, strong enough to match desktop chipsets.
