Amid rumors about Samsung's new flagship smartphone, the company set March 30 as the date for its launching event. After the event, Galaxy S8 and S8+ will be released in April.
The date was disclosed in the Korean version of a teaser clip, uploaded onto Samsung Mobile Korea's YouTube channel Monday. Samsung has made meticulous preparations for the release of its S8 series for months, to avoid any unexpected demise caused by Note 7's exploding batteries last year.
Samsung's efforts were in the video description: "8, a completion and a new start."
