T-ara will release its last album entirety in May before the contract of members expires, ending their eight-year activities as a popular K-pop girl group abroad.

The group will release the album on May 17, MBK Entertainment, said the girls would complete concerts and promotional activities as a group at the end of June. There was no word on whether the contract will be renewed.

Since its debut in 2009, the group has released a dozen EPs focusing on hook-heavy dance music. Their debut studio album Absolute First Album spawned several hit songs including "Bo Peep Bo Peep" and "You Drive Me Crazy". "Roly-Poly", released in 2011, became the Gaon chart's best-selling single of the year.

The group's popularity has dwindled since its member, Hwayoung, left five years ago over allegations that she was bullied by teammates. Afterward, the group has been engaged in brisk performances abroad.
