Singer-songwriter Lee Ji-eun, known as IU, will come back next month with her self-produced fourth studio album, overcoming a spate of cyber bullying.
The new album will be released on April 21, according to Loen-Fave Entertainment, adding she would pre-release two songs on March 24 and April 7. It will be her first album since "Chat-shire" was released in October 2015.
IU has released three studio albums and nine extended plays as one of the best-selling solo artists in the K-pop industry dominated by boy and girl groups.
More more than a year, the 23-year-old has been the victim of online bullying over alleged sexual metaphors in her song. In January this year, she ended three years of dating with singer-songwriter Chang Kiha, 35.
