5,500 tickets for Gong Yoo's fan meeting in Taiwan, scheduled for April 29, were sold out in mere 10 minutes. The actress recently starred in a drama "Goblin" which pulled a phenomenal popularity at home and in Asian countries earlier this year.
The 37-year-old's agency Soop said in a statement that the tickets for "2017 Gong Yoo Live Make A wish" fan meeting events were all sold out on Saturday only 10 minutes after its sale began. "Considering the tickets were only sold from offline ticket vending machines at convenience stores, the result is amazing," said an agency official.
Gong Yoo gained the attention of international fans this year by taking the main role in the popular drama Goblin. The actor also starred in "Train to Busan", a zombie film popular among horror film enthusiasts worldwide.
