Singer IU will take a strong legal action against a YouTuber who made sexual jokes during his online live talk show.
The 23-year-old's agency, FAVE Entertainment, warned of "strong and merciless legal actions" against the YouTuber, "POOWAR", for using vulgar words to describe her body parts at the show last week.
The YouTuber was unrepentant saying, "It would be an honor if IU files a lawsuit against me. I would get to meet the singer, wouldn't I?" He said IU may drop the case against her fan. "Taking legal actions against me would only hurt IU's public image."
IU and her agency are well known for taking strong legal actions against cyber bullies. Tens of cyber bullies have been sued. IU has been dogged by a barrage of hate comments two years ago when female-centered online communities criticized her for using sexual metaphors in her song.
