One of the most gorgeous actresses of Hollywood and a mother of two children, Jessica Alba, has been a busy bee this year as Honest Company she founded is growing into an empire.

The Honest Company was born from her idea she got after had her first child, Honor. She wanted to create a baby product company that does not use petrochemicals and synthetic fragrances, which can trigger allergies to sensitive babies' skins.

She launched the company in 2011 with the help of her business partners. Her company started getting outpouring support from her fans who were delighted with her mission to create better and honest products for babies, and the company's sales soared to $50 million in 2013.

However, Honest Company was struck with a number of controversies. The first one was after the company reformulated its baby sunblock in 2015. Numerous customers claimed they got skin burns after using the product. Then in April 2016, the company got sued for fraudulent representation of its Premium Infant Formula as organic when it contains 11 synthetic substances.

Despite these hardships, Alba and her Honest team worked day and night to create a new sub-brand for adults. The company launched Honest Beauty in September 2015. Now Honest Beauty merchandises are displayed at 800 Target stores starting from March 26. This move is expected to double the current Honest Beauty sales.

Alba has been promoting Honest Beauty diligently using her social media channels and her status as a celebrity. She created new hashtag movement #TargetTuesday and started visiting Target to promote her products.
