Hollywood racism and sexism scandals are not something new. There have been many incidents reported regarding how the industry treats actors and actresses of color unfairly compared to their white co-stars.

There is another case to add to the list of stories. A popular TV show, Hawaii Five-O, Asian stars Daniel Dae Kim and Grace Park called it quits after the show producers failed to raise their salaries equal to their white co-stars, Alex O'Laughlin and Scott Caan.

Kim and Park have been getting paid "10-15% lower" than their co-stars and starred along with O'Laughlin and Caan for seven seasons as Chin Ho Kelly and Kono Kalakaua.

The network representative told Variety in an interview, "We are so appreciative of Daniel and Grace's enormous talents, professional excellence, and the aloha spirit they brought to each and every one of our 168 episodes. They've helped us build an exciting new Hawaii Five-O, and we wish them all the best and much success in their next chapters. Mahalo and a huihou."

The duo will not be back for the show's eighth season, and the show's fans are wondering who the producers will cast to fill in Kim and Park's roles.
