Police officers go through many ordeals to keep their neighborhoods safe and sound. They have witnessed many oddities that people have never even heard of. Police officers from Richmond, California, can say they've seen it all.

Richmond, California often made the list of one of the most dangerous cities in California and in 2010, the city ranked 6th in the list of top 10 most dangerous cities in America that was released by FBI. Richmond officers are used to seeing the craziness of the dangerous city. However, this incident that happened on July 17 surprised the Richmond PD.

A team of officers responded to the North Richmond around 6:30 pm on a report of a sighting of a wanted person. When the officers arrived at the scene to arrest the suspect, initially the person gave them a false name. When the officers ran the name in the data, there was an active warrant. Then the suspect confessed he gave a false name and told the officers his real name.

The suspect had a warrant out and the officers arrested him. At the Richmond Police Department, he started exhibiting aggressive behaviors during a booking process after the officers learned that he was on parole.

While getting transferred in a police car to the county jail in Martinez, the suspect managed to bring his cuffed hands from behind to front and removed his clothing. He disposed of his clothes through an open window.

Then he did an unthinkable. He defecated in the moving police car and ate his feces. He then spat his feces at the officers.

The officers pulled the car over on Interstate Highway 80 and called for backup. More officers arrived at the scene to detain the suspect and put him into a compliance safety device.

CHP, California Highway Patrol, had to briefly shut down the highway to safely detain the suspect. The suspect was then taken to the county jail. Fortunately, the immensely gross transfer ended without injuries.
