Sorry, White Nationalists. You are not welcome on Facebook.

What happened in the recent white nationalists protest in Charlottesville, Virginia shocked Americans and the world when an extreme white supremacist plowed his car into the anti-racism demonstrators who were following the white nationalists after the rally was shut down due to physical altercations between the two parties.

The man who drove his car into the crowd was arrested shortly after the incident and identified as James Alex Fields, Jr., a 20-year-old man from Maumee, Ohio. From the incident, a 32-year-old woman was killed and 19 people were injured. Fields was charged with one count of second-degree murder, three counts of malicious wounding, and one count of hit-and-run.

Ever since the photos of the white nationalists and neo-Nazis from the rally was publicized, people have been identifying the rally partakers. One of the family publicly disowned their son, Peter Tefft, after he was identified as one of the white supremacists. The father of Peter Tefft, Pearce Tefft, submitted a letter to Inforum announcing that his son "is not welcome at our family gatherings any longer." He added, "I pray my prodigal son will renounce his hateful beliefs and return home." Tefft pleaded to his son, "Please son, renounce the hate, accept and love all."

Starting with Christopher Cantwell, an infamous white supremacist of Keene, New Hampshire, personal and podcast pages, other event pages related to white nationalist rallies have been removed from Facebook.

Cantwell released a video of him fearing for his life and he later said in a phone interview with AP that his Facebook, Instagram, and PayPal account have been shut down.

It is unclear at this point if Facebook will go further and ban other identified white supremacists.

John Ramondetta, a white nationalist from Berkeley, California who was identified as a Neo-Nazi advocate is "no longer employed" at Rosendin Electric, according to the company spokesperson, Salina Brown. Brown did not clarify if Ramondetta who worked as an electrician at the company had quit voluntarily or been fired.
