With low-key publicity in a society still under the influence of Confucianism, "Playboy", the American adult magazine, issued the first Korean edition without its trademark nude images.
The Korean edition of Playboy included the interviews of public figures and stories about politics, social issues and lifestyle. It also has a variety of pictorials.
Playboy, published first 1953, has been a world-popular adult magazine for nude and semi-nude photographs of its models called "Playmates". Last year, nude photos were pulled out but the publisher brought back nudity in April this year.
