BIGBANG member Taeyang took the top place in Billboard's World Album Chart for the week of September 2 with his latest album "White Night" heading off other K-pop artists such as EXO and Girls Generation who stood third and fifth respectively.
The 28-year-old successfully went solo last week with the new album that included two title tracks -- "WAKE ME UP" and "DARLING". Their YouTube music videos have garnered more than 3.5 million view counts each. Billboard's World Album Chart is a list of the world's top-selling music albums in terms of sales. The chart is renewed every week.
