Ryu So-yeon had her best LPGA season, sharing the top player's title with rookie sensation Park Sung-hyun, but she said she still feels hungry, setting a higher goal of winning all major championships at once.

"My goal is to achieve the Grand Slam," Ryu told reporters in an airport west of Seoul on Tuesday. "Next year, I will try harder to win more tournaments and regain the world's number one ranking."

The 27-year-old stands third in the world ranking behind Feng Shanshan of China and Park. After winning her second career major at the ANA Inspiration in April, she rose to No. 1, but the honor went to Park and Feng later. Ryu said good scores in the middle of the season inspired her to yearn for the Player of the Year award. "It is so glorious to have a name in history."
