Girls' Generation member Taeyeon rear-ended a taxi in a traffic accident involving three cars. Her management agency blamed careless driving.
The 28-year-old rear-ended a taxi, causing it to smash into an Audi sedan in southern Seoul at 8:00 pm (1100GMT) on Tuesday. Police said that judging from the result of an alcohol test, Taeyeon appeared to be sober at the time.
Taeyeon feels very sorry for the accident which was caused by her careless driving, SM Entertainment said in a statement, adding she was unhurt. Two taxi passengers and the Audi sedan driver were rushed to a nearby hospital but no one was seriously injured.
