BTS expressed its fresh goal of reaching Billboard Chart's top 10 after it became the highest-ranking K-pop band in the prestigious music chart with "Mic Drop".

"Our goal in 2018 is to reach Billboard Chart's top 10," Jimin told reporters ahead of the group's last concert at Seoul's Gocheok Sky Dome that wrapped up this year's "WINGS TOUR" of 17 cities in ten countries.

Backed by a streak of hit songs, the seven-member group's popularity has skyrocketed in the global music scene. BTS has firmed its fandom in the United States after it performed live at the American Music Awards 2017 and other popular TV shows last month.

Last week, BTS reached No. 28 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart with "Mic Drop" which has been popular since its remix was released on November 24. "We will work hard with this goal, and we want to go up to the top of Billboard 200 and Hot 100's top 10," Jimin said.

As a K-pop solo artist, rapper Psy achieved a higher spot in the Hot 100 chart with his worldwide hit "Gangnam Style". The rapper had "Gentleman" charted No. 5 in 2013 and "Hangover" charted No. 26 in 2014.

Jin said BTS may try a stadium tour next year or the year after. RM said his group would continue the 'Love Yourself' series while playing music "as we do" with a strategic and humble approach.
