SEOUL, Feb. 19 (Aju News) -- South Korea's Samsung Engineering said Monday it has teamed up with Petrofac, a London-based provider of oilfield services, to secure an order worth 2.1 billion US dollars for an oil plant in Oman.
The deal shared by Samsung Engineering and Petrofac calls for the construction of an oil plant in a special economic zone in Duqm, an industrial oil town, the South Korean company said in a regulatory filing, adding the plant could produce 230,000 barrels a day.
