SEOUL -- BIGBANG's farewell song "Flower Road" topped the real-time music charts of major South Korean online music services.
The five-member group released the song on Tuesday to mark the enlistment of Daesung, who was the fourth member to start his mandatory military service. Only the song's audio form was released but it dominated the real-time charts of Melon, Naver Music, Soribada and Genie.
With other members away, Seungri is the only active BIGBANG member. He will join the military in the first half of this year after releasing a solo album. G-DRAGON enlisted last week and Taeyang entered an army boot camp on Monday. TOP started his mandatory service as a conscripted policeman in 2017 but was expelled for smoking marijuana to serve as a public service worker in January.
