SEOUL -- A purported image of G7, LG's new flagship smartphone scheduled to be released in May, has been leaked online.
Evan Blass, an IT specialist famous for his predictions and leaked information on smart devices, uploaded the rendered image of a smartphone to Twitter Tuesday and wrote: " LG G7....ThinQ". In the leaked image, G7 features a similar design to its predecessor, G6 and seems to have a "notch" design adopted by Apple's iPhone X.
The notch design features a bump protruding out to the top edge of a smartphone's display to secure the minimum space available for a speaker while maximizing the area of the display. LG is expected to introduce G7 in May.
