SEOUL -- Rapper Psy, known for his global hit "Gangnam Style", left many fans frustrated Monday after tickets for his summer concert tour were sold out in less than an hour and a ticketing service website crashed.

Psy has revealed plans for "SUMMER SWAG" concerts saying he will use 160 tons of water, 1,600 LED tiles and 1,500 fireworks for each of his concerts.  He will hold six concerts during his summer tour in South Korea. His tour kicks off in the southern port city of Busan on July 24 and ends in Gwangju on August 25.

"I gave up trying to connect to the website," Kim Ji-hoon, a 25-year-old businessman who claims to be a big fan of Psy, told Aju News, adding he wanted to reserve tickets in Seoul but failed because Interpark, an online ticketing service, crashed due to huge traffic.

More complaints filled online communities. "I am still trying. I still have hopes that I will eventually succeed!" Minimil, a user from South Korea's online community Clien, said in his post. Another user Humantemp said: "I failed miserably. I hope I get the tickets next year."
