SEOUL -- The digital version of BTS's upcoming album "LOVE YOURSELF: Answer" will include a special track featuring famous American rapper Nicki Minaj, the four-member group's agency said.
Big Hit Entertainment said in a surprise statement that the digital version of the new album, scheduled for release at 0900 GMT Friday, will include a special version of "IDOL" featuring the 35-year-old rapper-songwriter as a guest artist.
"After the boys have finished producing the new album, they said it would be nice if Minaj's rap was included in 'IDOL' and she gladly accepted our offer," Big Hit said. The teaser video for "IDOL", which is one of seven new songs included in the repackaged album, has garnered more than 1.7 million views in less than two days since it was released on YouTube.
Trinidadian-American singer Nicki Minaj debuted in 2010 and released hit songs such as "Bang Bang", "Starships" and "Super Bass".
