SEOUL -- As part of her world tour, singer-songwriter Carla Bruni, the wife of former French president Nicolas Sarkozy, will hold her first concert in South Korea in November.

Dream Maker Entertainment said in a statement on Tuesday that the 50-year-old would hold the first concert in Seoul on November 1 and the second one in the southern port city of Busan on November 2 under the title of THE LIVE Vol. 1: CARLA BRUNI.

The concert organizer said Bruni's tour has been planned to commemorate the release of "French Touch", a pop song remake album released in October last year.

After pursuing her career as a supermodel, Bruni became a singer-songwriter in 1997 and released "Quelqu'un m'a dit", her debut album, in 2003. More than two million copies of the album were sold worldwide. She got married to Sarkozy in November 2007.
