SEOUL -- Song Mino, a member of K-pop hip-hop band WINNER, has topped the real-time song charts of major South Korean online music services. The 25-year-old rapper dropped "FIANCÉ", the title song of his first solo album "XX", on Monday.

The song is a hip-hop track with a touch of "Trot", an old-style military march-based ballad music genre which is popular among elderlies in South Korea and Japan. Song's music video has garnered more than 1.5 million views and 19,000 supporting comments on YouTube.

"I knew mino was a genius before but after listening to the actual meaning behind this song ITS A FREAKING MASTERPIECE," commented Cherry, a YouTube user. Another YouTuber, Madleen MUnz, wrote: "This song is soo unique."

Song Mino, a trainee of Block.B, signed a contract with YG Entertainment, South Korea's leading entertainment powerhouse, and debuted as a WINNER member in 2014. He reached the semi-finals of the fourth season of "Show Me The Money", a cable TV hip-hop audition show, in 2015.
